Paris, also called ‘The City Of Love’, is one of the most romantic destinations in the world. Its cobbled streets and little side stands give it a dreamy and romantic vibe that make it popular among couples and honeymooners. However, that is not to say that Paris has little to offer to singles and families. With a plethora of architectural wonders, beautiful lawns and the River Seine, Paris makes for an amazing trip complete with delicious food.
In the center, Paris is divided into 20 different arrondissements or districts with most of the popular tourist attractions located in the first 8 arrondissements. The list of attractions starts from The Eiffel Tower, noticeable from every rooftop in Paris. The awe aspiring view and the construction of the structure itself is one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
Shopping in Paris is a creative pursuit. Walk down Rue de Rivoli and you will see several departmental stores. Avenue Montaigne and the Champs Elysees are home to leading designer brands. Around Les Halle and the Louvre, the shopping is elegant and classical. For street fashion and casual wear, head to Le Marais. Antiques shops and art galleries at St. Germain (on the left bank of Seine) are charming and full of character.
In Paris, spend some time exploring the museums. Meet Monalisa at the Louvre and the master impressionists like Monet and Manet, at Musee d’Orsay. Walk down the banks of River Seine to view the Gothic church of Notre Dame de Paris. The Latin Quarters are not too far away from here. Spend an afternoon here at a roadside Parisian cafe. Arc de Triomphe is another historical landmark on Champ Elysees. A picnic outing at one of the many parks of Paris like the Jardin de Luxembourg or Jardin de Tuileries make for lovely holiday memories.
